Meet Jim Kell

Biography

Jim Kell has worked in education for over 35 years, having graduated from the universities of Edinburgh and Oxford. For much of his career, he has focused on cross-border educational cooperation, particularly on large-scale projects with ministries, agencies and partners overseas.
Jim has been Director of International Partnerships at GL Education for 5 years; prior to that he was Director of Operations at Bell Educational Services. Since he joined GL Education, Jim has led the company in localising and benchmarking its flagship assessment CAT4 into Arabic and Chinese in collaboration with ministries of education.

As a senior Director of the company, Jim is passionate about the impact GL Education has in helping schools understand the “whole student” through standardised data – uncovering their true potential, how they think, and how they feel.
